The date has been confirmed for Pompey’s Emirates FA Cup third round tie at Tottenham Hotspur.
Danny Cowley’s side will take on Premier League opposition on Saturday, January 7 (12.30pm kick-off).
The match will not be televised in the UK, but is available for overseas broadcasters to show live.
The club are liaising with supporter representatives regarding the allocation of tickets and will confirm details as soon as possible.
It will be the first FA Cup meeting between the sides since April 2010, when a 2-0 extra-time victory at Wembley sent the Blues into the final.
Antonio Conte’s Spurs currently sit fourth in the top-flight table and will be facing AC Milan in the last 16 of the Champions League in the new year.
