Denver Hume has only experienced the backing of the Fratton Park faithful on two previous occasions.
One of those was on his debut last month and that ended in disappointment, with a narrow defeat to Charlton.
So the January signing from Sunderland is looking forward to returning to home soil when Fleetwood visit the south coast on Saturday.
And the wing-back is delighted that the Blues will be taking to the pitch on the back of a three-match winning run.
Hume said: “I’ve played four games now and have settled in well, while the lads and staff have been great with me.
“But the fans have also been fantastic and I’m looking forward to the chance to play in front of them again on Saturday.
"We’re looking to keep building momentum to take into the back end of the season, so want to extend this run we’re on."
“It was obviously a great result for us at Shrewsbury on Tuesday night and now we’ve got three home matches in a week.
“We’re looking to keep building momentum to take into the back end of the season, so want to extend this run we’re on.
“Our recent form means that we’re feeling confident at the moment and it’s definitely going to help that we’re back at Fratton Park for the next few matches.”
Pompey are facing a Cod Army outfit who are down in 19th position and looking to halt a six-game winless run.
Hume said: “You always know it’s going to be tough when you’re facing a side fighting towards the bottom of the table.
“Fleetwood are going to be difficult to beat, but they’re coming to our place and we have to be bang up for it to take the three points.”
