Ellis Harrison has left Pompey and joined Fleetwood for an undisclosed fee.
The striker netted 20 goals in 84 appearances during his two-and-a-half years at Fratton Park.
Blues boss Danny Cowley said: “We want to wish Ellis and his family all the very best for the future.
“He’s a larger than life character and you can always hear him before you see him – our training ground will certainly be a quieter place!
"We have nothing but love for Ellis and all the players were very fond of him."
“We have nothing but love for Ellis and all the players were very fond of him. We want to take the opportunity to thank him for his efforts in a Pompey shirt.”
Harrison – who hit a hat-trick in September’s Papa John’s Trophy loss at AFC Wimbledon – featured for Bristol Rovers and Ipswich before signing for the Blues.
Fleetwood are currently sitting just above the League One drop zone and will visit Fratton Park at the end of February.
