Loan Watch: Another 90 Minutes For Mnoga

Find out how Pompey's loan players fared at the weekend

17 January 2022

Haji Mnoga played another full 90 minutes for National League side Weymouth, but couldn't prevent them exiting the FA Trophy to Dartford.

The Terras had parted company with manager Brian Stock earlier in the week, and fell to a narrow 1-0 defeat in the competition's fourth round.

A Fleetwood side featuring Callum Johnson picked up an impressive win over Rotherham at Highbury Stadium, with a 95th-minute winner from Anthony Pilkington securing three points.

Johnson picked up a yellow card in the seventh minute following a foul.

Harvey Hughes and Dan Gifford were both named in Bognor Regis' starting XI against Horsham, but the Sussex side had to settle for a 2-2 draw after being pegged back twice.

Gifford had scored his first goal for the Rocks on Wednesday in a 1-0 win over Cray Wanderers.

Paul Downing made his Rochdale debut in the League Two club's 2-0 defeat to Tranmere Rovers at Prenton Park.

The defender signed a loan deal to join the Dale until the end of the season earlier in the week.

Midfielder Jay Mingi has returned to Fratton Park following the completion of his loan spell at Maidenhead, but will be sidelined for two to four weeks after dislocating his shoulder in a training match.

The 21-year-old made nine appearances for the Magpies, scoring against Wrexham in a 3-2 win.
