Pompey Partner With The Cayman Islands

Department of Tourism confirmed as Milton End Sponsor

Portsmouth Football Club are delighted to welcome the Cayman Islands Department of Tourism as Official Milton End Sponsor.

The partnership – which runs until the summer of 2024 – will see the Milton End, the big screen and perimeter boards transformed visually, with inspiring videography and photography of the Cayman Islands, while imagery and branding will also be displayed on social media channels and club emails to keep the destination top of mind.

World-renowned for its idyllic beaches, the Cayman Islands is a British Overseas Territory in the Caribbean made up of the islands of Grand Cayman, Cayman Brac and Little Cayman – each of which offer unique bucket list experiences and stunning scenery.

The Cayman Islands and Portsmouth Football Club share a vibrant and storied maritime heritage and the new partnership will raise awareness of the Cayman Islands, with the goal of boosting tourism.

Visitors to the islands will discover vibrant culture, varied cuisine and unmatched settings, boasting myriad activities ranging from beachside lounging to scuba diving and snorkelling.

On the partnership with Portsmouth FC, Hon. Kenneth Bryan, Minister for Tourism & Transport, the Cayman Islands said: “We are delighted to be working with Portsmouth FC, who are the perfect partner to help us raise awareness of the Cayman Islands as a premier tourism destination.

“With verified vaccinated travellers now able to visit without quarantine, we look forward to once again sharing all of the wonderful experiences that the Cayman Islands has to offer.”

“We are pleased to have this opportunity to raise awareness of our vibrant island destination and hope that Portsmouth FC fans will be encouraged to experience the Cayman Islands first-hand."

Pompey’s chief commercial officer Anna Mitchell added: “We are delighted to be partnering with the Cayman Islands Department of Tourism.

The Cayman Islands Department of Tourism also has some exciting fan engagement initiatives planned throughout the sponsorship period.
