Clark Robertson returns to the Pompey starting line-up for this afternoon’s match at high-flying Sunderland.
The skipper makes his first league appearance since mid-September, having recovered from a hip problem.
He replaces Connor Ogilvie – who has missed training recently after injuring his nose – in the centre of defence.
It is one of three changes from the side that were held to a goalless draw at AFC Wimbledon earlier in the week.
Ronan Curtis and Reeco Hackett also return to the team, with Lee Brown and George Hirst joining Ogilvie on the bench.
