Pompey will have some first team players on display at Bognor this evening.
Those members of Danny Cowley’s side who did not start Tuesday’s 5-2 victory at Leyton Orient are expected to feature.
Supporters will also be able to catch a glimpse of some of the club’s academy hopefuls, who are aiming to earn professional contracts over the next couple of years.
And Cowley believes the contest will be a useful exercise in forging stronger bonds between senior and youth players.
The Blues boss said: “The boys who didn’t start at Leyton Orient on Tuesday evening will play against Bognor.
"We’re trying to align the first team with the academy and build that link, showing them how our matchday protocols work."
“So we’ll still have a strong team that will be taken by the academy staff, with Nicky and I going with them.
“It’ll be a good night for us and we think a lot of Bognor – it’s a great club and I went there to watch their kids’ tournaments in the summer.
“We’re trying to align the first team with the academy and build that link, showing them how our matchday protocols work.”
The regular contest at Nyewood Lane gets started at 7.45pm and supporters can use the cash turnstiles.
Seats are priced £11 for adults and £6 for juniors (under 18), with a place on the terraces costing £10 and £5 respectively.
