Pompey completed their busy pre-season weekend with a narrow reverse at Gosport.
Andreas Robinson found the bottom corner in the opening stages to settle the contest in the hosts' favour.
Most of Danny Cowley's side had also been in action against the Hawks the previous day and the Blues were unable to make the most of a late flurry of chances.
