Molly Small and Adam Angus have joined Pompey Women's development squad as joint managers.
The pair join the club after leaving Alton at the end of the 2021/22 season.
On joining Pompey, Molly said: "I'm really excited to get started. Development football is a slightly new background for me as I was managing the first team at Alton, but I think the aims are still the same.
Adam added: "Conversations with Jay have been really positive. He's told us a lot about the background of the team and how far they have come, but also a lot of background on our roles and how we will link with him and the first team."
Molly continued: "We're really grateful that he has decided to bring us in to help guide the development squad forward.
"We coach a lot of youngsters outside of a club environment, so for us it's about using that experience to develop our players so they have the ability to play for the first team.
"We want to keep pushing the boundaries of what the club is capable of, but we understand that will take a lot of time and effort, and that's exactly what we're going to give."
Adam said: "Our aims are to progress from last season, on and off the pitch, whilst also getting far in cup competitions.
"We want to keep pushing the boundaries of what the club is capable of, but we understand that will take a lot of time and effort, and that's exactly what we're going to give."
Molly said: "The main aim is to see progression. The club have seen it previously with Freya Jones and the players that gained first team experience last year, so we'll work hard to continue this trend"
