Pompey Women are delighted to announce the signing of defender Izzy Collins.
She makes the move after leaving Championship side Lewes at the end of the 2021/22 season.
The 19-year-old progressed through the ranks at Norwich and left her hometown club at the start of last season to join the Sussex-based side.
Blues boss Jay Sadler said: "I'm really pleased with the addition of Izzy. As soon as we were made aware of her situation we were really keen to escalate the process and get it over the line.
"She has bags of potential, and at only 19 years of age, she has already gained decent exposure and experiences in the league above.
"She's athletic, intelligent, confident and possesses really good technical ability.
"I've been impressed with how she's fitted straight into the group, bringing positive energy and a willingness to learn and improve.
"I believe we have created an environment that has nurtured and harnessed the qualities of such young players in the past.
"So we’re all really looking forward to working closely with Izzy and supporting her development."
