Pompey Announce Her Game Too Partnership

Blues support anti-sexism initiative

28 June 2022

Portsmouth Football Club are delighted to announce a new partnership with Her Game Too, which aims to raise awareness of sexist abuse within the realms of football.

Pompey join a number of clubs from the EFL and beyond to commit to the cause, creating further awareness to the problems faced in football by females.

Her Game Too was founded by 12 passionate female football fans who are committed to growing the campaign with the aim of fostering an ethos in football in which women are welcomed and respected equally.

The non-profit organisation aims to create awareness, educate, research, develop a strong sense of community and create strong relationships with clubs, among much more.

Pompey Women's Fratton Park clash with Brighton in July will be a Her Game Too dedicated fixture and the club are finalising plans for a men's home match to support the cause.

"We hope by supporting these important campaigns and organisations such as Her Game Too, it will help us in ensuring that everyone feels safe and welcome when they are at Fratton Park and at football in general."
