Two of Pompey’s young players have been called up for international duty.
Midfielder Harry Jewitt-White – who penned his first professional deal last month – has been selected in the Wales under-18 squad.
They are heading to Croatia in June to compete in a tournament with their hosts, as well as England and Austria.
Meanwhile, Alfie Bridgman is in the Malta under-19 squad for a training camp and two friendlies against Northern Ireland.
The midfielder was recently handed a third year scholarship, while both players featured for Pompey in the Papa John’s Trophy during the 2021/22 campaign.
It means there will be three members of the Blues squad on international duty in June, with Joe Morrell trying to help Wales qualify for the World Cup.
