Several former Pompey stars will take part in a charity match in memory of Sophie Fairall.
Alan Knight, Brett Pitman, Svetoslav Todorov and Paul Walsh are all set to feature in the contest at Gosport’s Privett Park this Sunday (May 8).
The match against Sophie’s All-Stars is raising money for the Sophie’s Legacy charity to help provide play specialists for youngsters in hospital, improve food for patients and their parents, and to increase funding for childhood cancer research.
It comes after 10-year-old Sophie sadly passed last year following a brave battle with rhabdomyosarcoma, which is a rare type of cancer.
Blues boss Danny Cowley and brother Nicky will also be in attendance to support the event, which includes a raffle and auction, as well as a bouncy castle and face painting.
Tickets are priced £5 for adults and £2 for children, with a family ticket available for £10. They can be purchased online here.
Turnstiles will open at 1pm on Sunday, with the big match kicking-off at 2pm.
