Denver Hume starts for Pompey in this afternoon’s Emirates FA Cup second round tie against MK Dons.
He replaces Connor Ogilvie in one of four changes from the side that drew with Derby in the league eight days ago.
Michael Morrison comes into a three-man back-line, while there are also starts for Ronan Curtis and Reeco Hackett.
Owen Dale and Dane Scarlett have not been given permission to feature by their parent clubs, while Ogilvie and Josh Koroma drop to the bench.
Also named among the substitutes are academy players Brian Quarm, Josh Dockerill, Adam Payce and Koby Mottoh.
