It is never the most magical of cup ties when you draw a side from the same division.
But Connor Ogilvie knows there is the carrot of a potential third round clash with a Premier League side dangling tantalisingly within reach.
Before getting excited by a possible glamour tie, however, there is the small matter of getting past MK Dons this weekend.
They have struggled in the league so far this season, but remain in all three cup competitions and are the subject of Ogilvie’s focus.
The defender said: “We need to turn a few more of our draws into wins, but the performances have been there and we need to keep that up.
“It was a good result for us at Ipswich in the Papa Johns Trophy on Tuesday night and hopefully we can take that momentum into the weekend.
"It can be the highlight of the season, but we just have to concentrate on this game against MK Dons and try to win it."

Ogilvie is happy to be back on the left side of defence after a recent stint filling in at right-back due to a shortage of players.
He said: “I just had to do a job for the team and it’s nice to be in my usual position again because it was a bit foreign to me.
“But we’ve had a few injuries, which is isn’t really ideal, and you want the whole squad fit and ready to fight.
“When that’s the case, though, you need all the boys to step up and perform whenever they get the chance.”
