Pompey will host fellow League One side MK Dons in the second round of the Emirates FA Cup.
The tie is scheduled to take place at Fratton Park on the weekend of November 25-28, with a confirmed date and ticket information announced in due course.
Danny Cowley's side battled from behind to win at Hereford on Friday and reach this stage of the competition.
MK Dons were also in action against non-league opposition, thrashing National League South outfit Taunton 6-0 on home soil.
This will be the first ever FA Cup meeting between the sides, who will also meet on the south coast in a League One contest three weeks later.
Liam Manning's Buckinghamshire-based team are currently sitting just inside the relegation places, having collected 14 points from their opening 16 fixtures.
