Colby Bishop is closing in on taking his Pompey goal tally into double figures – and we have not even reached the end of October.
The striker was at it again when Oxford visited Fratton Park, slotting home to seal a 1-1 draw in League One.
That came after Kyle Joseph had opened the scoring for the visitors, who then saw Billy Bodin dismissed for two bookable offences.
And despite having to fight from behind, Bishop was annoyed that the Blues were only able to claim a single point.
He said: “It’s a difficult one and we know we weren’t good enough, although there was an improvement in the second half.
“Oxford going down to 10 men helped, but prior to that happening, we were moving the ball around better.
"They made some good blocks to keep us out and it was just frustrating that we were unable to find the winner."
“So we’re disappointed overall, although pleased with the character that was shown to get back into the game.
“We kept banging away on the door at the end and sometimes you need a little ricochet to go your way.

Referee Sam Purkiss deliberated with his assistant for a few nervy moments before eventually allowing the equaliser to stand.
Bishop said: “I was confused because I thought they were appealing for offside, but then they were saying it was handball.
“It actually hit my chest – and even if it had hit my arm, then I wouldn’t care anyway! I don’t know what they were on about.”
