Danny Cowley has been named the Sky Bet League One Manager of the Month for August.
He saw off competition from Ipswich’s Kieran McKenna, Plymouth’s Steven Schumacher and Sheffield Wednesday’s Darren Moore to land the prize.
Pompey began the month by drawing with Lincoln before enjoying four successive victories over Cheltenham, Cambridge, Bristol Rovers and Port Vale.
