Josh Griffiths has been named in the England under-21 squad for their upcoming international friendlies.
The Pompey keeper will be looking to win his first cap at that level, having been part of the squad that competed in the 2021 European Championship.
Lee Carsley's side visit Italy on Thursday, September 22 before hosting Germany at Bramall Lane on Tuesday, September 27.
The games form part of the young Lions' preparations for next summer's Euros being held in Romania and Georgia.
Meanwhile, Harry Jewitt-White has been called up to the Wales under-19 squad for their upcoming matches against Hungary, Republic of Ireland and Gibraltar.
Joe Morrell has already been called up to the Wales senior squad, while Alfie Bridgman is heading off for Malta under-19 duty.
