Pompey Women are delighted to announce the signing of Beth Lumsden.
The forward has signed a one-year contract and will wear the number 26 shirt.
She arrives following her departure from Southampton at the end of the 2022/23 season.
The 24-year-old previously enjoyed a spell in the National League with Oxford during the 2021/22 campaign, scoring 27 goals in 33 appearances.
During her time with the Yellows, she trained with men's head coach John Mousinho and the rest of Karl Robinson's League One side.
Lumsden has featured in pre-season as a trialist, finding the net six times in three matches.
"She has fighting qualities and has fitted straight into our dynamic with ease. I’m really excited to see her grow with us and I know she’ll soon become a fans' favourite."
She progressed through the ranks at Arsenal and has also played for Chelsea, Millwall and Charlton.
Blues boss Jay Sadler said: "We’re delighted to add Beth to our squad. She’s an outstanding player and someone we’ve been monitoring for quite a while now.
"When we saw she had become available in the summer we were surprised, but also extremely interested to talk. Her goalscoring record at this level speaks for itself.
"Beth has everything needed to fit into our style. She’s a player who is hungry for success and always has the goal in mind.
