Toby Steward has joined Gosport Borough in a loan deal that runs until the new year.
The 18-year-old keeper will link up with Pompey team-mate Harvey Laidlaw, who has already made a temporary switch to Privett Park.
Steward penned his first professional deal in February 2022 and has been on the bench for first team matches, as well as having a stint with Bognor last season.
Gosport finished 17th in the 2022/23 Southern League Premier Division South standings and begin the new campaign at home to Bracknell on Saturday.
