Gavin Whyte has been selected in the Northern Ireland squad for their upcoming Euro 2024 qualifiers.
Michael O'Neill's side visit Slovenia on Thursday, September 7 (7.45pm kick-off) and Kazakhstan on Sunday, September 10 (2pm kick-off).
They currently sit fifth in Group H after collecting three points from their opening four matches.
Whyte will not miss any Pompey games while he is away, as the scheduled trip to Barnsley has already been moved to later in the month.
His Blues team-mate Paddy Lane has missed out on selection after recently returning from injury.
