Pompey Academy's U18s squad have been presented to Blues supporters to celebrate their achievements this season.
It took place during half-time of the home victory against Burton at Fratton Park on Tuesday, with a number of activities taking place.
An interview with assistant professional development phase coach Sam Hudson was played on the big screen.
He discussed how the age group have progressed over the course of the season (with key moments shown during the presentation), which has helped them enjoy plenty of success.
After reaching the quarter-finals of the Youth Alliance Cup (the side's most successful run to date), the young Blues' 5-2 victory against Newport last weekend meant they secured third position in the Youth Alliance League table.
This will now see them compete in the top section of the Merit League for the remainder of the 2022/23 season.
"These events are so beneficial for the club across the board because it lines up with the objectives and values we set in the academy, as well as continuing to enhance the connection between the football club and our academy sides."
Reflecting on the latest event, academy manager Greg Miller said: "It was fantastic to attend last Tuesday's victory against Burton, with our oldest age group being handed the Fratton Park stage at half-time and making themselves known to supporters.
"These events are a brilliant initiative as they continue to connect our academy objectives and values, as well as strengthen the link between the football club and all our academy sides."
"It was an unforgettable experience for the players, who are the closest to making that step into first team men's football.
"With an experience such as this one, I'm confident it will motivate them to continue striving towards their ambitions to make it as a professional footballer at Portsmouth FC.”
This event is the latest of a number of academy showcase presentations for the 2022/23 season, so keep an eye on the club and academy social media channels to see when the next presentation will be taking place.
