You will often hear players and managers talk about wanting a quick opportunity to put things right after a defeat.
It is not too often, however, that the chance arises to do that at the same venue and against the same opponents.
But that is the situation that awaits the Blues this weekend, as they visit Bolton for a league contest just a few days after being narrowly beaten there in the Papa Johns Trophy.
Simon Bassey wants them to leave that contest in the past and focus on delivering a more complete display on Saturday.

“We also got into some dangerous positions and yet I can’t remember too many crosses going in, so that’s something else we have to work on.”
There are no new fitness concerns for Pompey, while they could have their skipper available again following a hip problem.
Bassey said “There were a few knocks picked up the other day, but they’ll be fine and so we’ve got no new issues, while Clark Robertson trained on Thursday.
“Joe Rafferty and Tom Lowery have gone to see a specialist. Hopefully it will be for the last time and we’ll hear some good news from that.”
