Michael Morrison has left Pompey and signed for fellow League One club Cambridge.
The 34-year-old centre-back had arrived at Fratton Park over the summer after leaving Reading at the end of last season.
He featured 28 times for the Blues, with his final appearance coming in a 3-0 defeat at Bolton earlier this month.
Morrison returns to Cambridge after beginning his career with the club and enjoying more than 100 games for them.
