Portsmouth FC have made changes to how loyalty points are accrued and used ahead of the 2023/24 campaign.
Following meetings with supporter groups and the Tony Goodall Fans’ Conference, a revised policy will be in place for allocating away tickets, starting with the first game against Forest Green in the Carabao Cup in August.
Changes will see loyalty points awarded more widely, rewarding season ticket holders and fans for attending both home and away matches, and ensuring Pompey’s most engaged supporters receive priority access to tickets.
The club are committed to listening to feedback and will constantly review this process to ensure that away tickets are allocated in the fairest way possible.
Loyalty Points
Supporters who hold a 2023/24 season ticket will automatically be allocated 23 loyalty points, while those who purchase a membership* (once available) will receive five points.
Buying a ticket to a League One match at Fratton Park earns one point, while buying a ticket for an away match earns two points.
The same applies for buying a ticket for matches in the Emirates FA Cup, Carabao Cup or EFL Trophy, with one point awarded for a home match and two for an away match.
Please note if you are purchasing more than one ticket, then you will still only receive a single allocation of loyalty points. Tickets must be assigned to each supporter’s Client ID to ensure loyalty points are correctly allocated. Loyalty points cannot be awarded retroactively.
*If a supporter purchases a season ticket and a membership (once available) then they will only receive the 23 loyalty points allocated to season ticket holders.
Away Ticket Sales
After tickets are allocated to official supporter groups, all away ticket sales windows – up to when they go on general sale – will now be based on loyalty points.
The amount of loyalty points required to purchase away tickets will vary depending on the allocation received.
This will be communicated in advance on the club website, taking into considerations the balance of loyalty points currently held by all our supporters.
