Five of Pompey's summer signings are making their first appearance for Pompey at Fratton Park.

Will Norris, Conor Shaughnessy, Regan Poole, Anthony Scully and Gavin Whyte all start this afternoon's pre-season friendly against Bristol City.

And there are seven more new arrivals who could feature off the bench on the sunny south coast.

Colby Bishop starts and Sean Raggett is named among the substitutes, with the duo missing the midweek trip to AFC Wimbledon as a precaution.

Paddy Lane limped off late on at Plough Lane and is not named in the matchday squad.
