Pompey’s new home kit has been flying off the shelves since it was unveiled last Friday.
The club have seen record sales of the Nike designed shirt, which has proved to be a big hit with supporters.
Almost 2,000 were sold online and in the Anson Road shop on the opening weekend – a 48 per cent increase on last season.
The strip features Pompey’s traditional colours of blue shirts – featuring a sublimated design on the front – white shorts and red socks. It is available to buy in-store now or by visiting the online shop.
Head of marketing and communications Matt Barker said: “We’ve been able to release our home kit much earlier this year and the response has been phenomenal.
“We’re really proud of the launch and we want to thank all fans who have purchased already – not to mention staff in the shop who worked tirelessly over the weekend to fulfil orders.
“The away and third kit releases are not too far away and supporters can expect to see something a bit different.”
Pompey are also planning to release more classic kits from the ‘Retro Vault’, which proved to be hugely popular with fans at the end of last season.
