Pompey Women are delighted to announce the signing of Kelci Bowers.
The defender has signed a one-year deal, with a club option of an additional 12 months.
The 19-year-old arrives on the south coast following her departure from Louisiana State University.
Bowers progressed through the ranks at Southampton before joining Chelsea's academy at under-18 level.
"Being born and raised in Portsmouth, that's a big thing to me and my chats with Jay have been great. It's also a great environment here."
She was part of the side that won the FA WSL Academy League title in 2021 and has also trained with Emma Hayes' first team.
Bowers has featured for England's youth teams from under-14 through to under-19 level.
She said: "It feels great to have completed the move. I'm really excited and I can't wait to get going

"I went to my first training session and met all the girls. It felt really natural and like a home already."
