Emma Jones has signed a new contract with Pompey Women, subject to FA approval.
The Welsh forward has put pen to paper on a one-year deal, with a club option of an additonal 12 months.
Jones joined the Blues in July 2021 following her departure from Championship side Lewes.
And she has since scored 14 goals in 36 appearances for Jay Sadler's side.
The Blues boss said: "Emma’s contract signing is great news for Pompey. She is a figurehead not only for the team, but the club as a whole moving forward.
"Last season she thrived, having had the opportunity of extended runs in the team and has shown on a regular basis what a goal threat she is.
"Unfortunately, this was hindered by injury. However, I’ve seen a new-found determination to get back to that level, hungry for goals and for success."
