Fulham U21s have been drawn into Southern Group E of the 2023/24 EFL Trophy.
Pompey will face the Londoners at Fratton Park, with a date for the fixture to be confirmed in due course.
John Mousinho’s men already knew that they would face reigning League Two champions Leyton Orient and fourth tier side Gillingham.
One of those fixtures will take place on home soil and one on the road, with the top two sides qualifying for the knock-out stages.
Bolton are the current EFL Trophy holders after beating Plymouth in last season’s final, while Pompey lifted the silverware in 2019.
