Reeco Hackett has left Pompey to sign for fellow League One side Lincoln for an undisclosed fee.
The 25-year-old forward netted 11 goals – including six last season – in 79 appearances during his time on the south coast.
Blues boss John Mousinho said: “Reeco was looking for a bit more playing time, so we shook hands and agreed he could move elsewhere.
"It’s a move that’s beneficial for all parties, so we thank Reeco for his efforts and wish him the very best for the future."
“He played an important role for us in the second half of last season and scored some goals. He did a decent job whenever he was called upon.
“It’s a move that’s beneficial for all parties, so we thank Reeco for his efforts and wish him the very best for the future.
Hackett joined Pompey from Bromley in January 2020, later returning to his former club on loan and also having a temporary stint with Southend.
His first Blues goal came at The Den in a Carabao Cup tie with Millwall at the start of the 2021/22 campaign.
