Pompey Women's development team will transition to an under-23s team from the 2023/24 season, further aligning the club's pathway.
Molly Small's side are fresh from glory after being crowned FAWNL Reserve Section South West champions at the end of the 2022/23 campaign.
And the Blues will once again be competing in the same division, as well as the Reserve League Cup, PDFA Cup and Women's Midweek Combined Counties Cup.
Following a successful trial session, the staff remain in advanced talks with several players to add strength and competition to the current group.
Finally, Molly Small (head coach), Ben Evans (assistant coach), Luke Barron (technical coach) and Teagan-Christine Brown (therapist) make up the U23s' backroom team.
