Joe Morell has been named in the Wales squad for their opening two matches of the Euro 2024 qualifying campaign.
The Pompey midfielder will be looking to add to his 32 international caps – the most recent of which he collected against England at the World Cup back in November.
Rob Page’s side visit Croatia on Saturday, March 25 (7.45pm kick-off) before hosting Latvia at the Cardiff City Stadium on Tuesday, March 28 (7.45pm kick-off).
They are in Group D and will also face off with Armenia and Turkey as countries battle to reach the finals tournament in Germany.
It is the start of a new era for Wales, with the talismanic Gareth Bale having retired, along with experienced players Joe Allen, Chris Gunter and Jonny Williams.
Meanwhile, defender Haji Mnoga – who is currently on loan at Aldershot – has been selected in the Tanzania squad for a couple of African Cup of Nations qualifiers against Uganda.
