Ronan Curtis has started his long route back to fitness after undergoing successful surgery.
It was confirmed at the start of the month that the Republic of Ireland international had suffered an ACL injury.
Blues boss John Mousinho previously said: "He’s as happy as you can be in this situation and ready to hit the ground running when he comes back."
And Curtis has now taken to Instagram to confirm that the operation on his knee went well.
The 26-year-old said: "Surgery went well today. Thank you all for your lovely messages – means a lot. On the road to recovery now."
