Supporters can write their name in Pompey’s history and be part of the 125th anniversary legacy by purchasing a copy of ‘The Official History of Portsmouth Football Club’.
The premium version will be available to pre-order from Monday, April 3 for £49 (plus postage).
Each of these will be numbered and have a personalised dedication on the front, as well as the VIP’s name in the back.
The club have worked with the Pompey History Society and Bishops Printers to bring the Blues’ colourful history to life.
The 384-page coffee table literature, which contains 20 specially commissioned colourised images and several rarely seen photographs, will be the definitive history of Portsmouth Football Club.
Edited by Colin Farmery, who has brought together a group of renowned sports writers and historians, the book will tell the full story of the south coast outfit.
It will also include a revised and updated statistical analysis, as well as special features on the people who have made the club so special.
125 randomly selected subscribers (on orders placed before Sunday, May 7) will be welcomed to an invite-only launch event, where those in attendance will be able to get their copy signed.
And a donation from the sale of each premium edition will go towards Pompey in the Community’s project to build the John Jenkins Stadium, improving fan access there for years to come.
The closing date to secure an exclusive book is Friday, June 30, with the release scheduled for September 2023.
