Pompey continue their latest Hampshire Cup campaign with a trip to the Arrow Arena to face Folland Sports.
The third round contest with the Planemakers takes place on Wednesday (November 15) and kicks-off at 7.45pm.
As with the last round at Gosport – which saw an incredible comeback and penalty shoot-out triumph – it will be a young side made up of academy players representing the Blues.
Lead professional development phase coach Sam Hudson said: “It’s another really good test for us and one we’re looking forward to.
“We really enjoy being able to challenge ourselves in men’s competitions – we’ve got the Portsmouth Cup tie at Baffins coming up soon as well.
"Hopefully we can produce a positive performance in front of a crowd at Folland and get through to the next round."
“The main benefit for us is getting to see where the boys are from a physical standpoint against more experienced players.
“These cup games gives up us the opportunity to play Saturday, Tuesday, Saturday, which is a good habit to get into if you want to become a professional footballer.
“Hopefully we can produce a positive performance in front of a crowd at Folland and get through to the next round.”
Tickets for the game can be purchased on the night and are priced £6 for adults and £3 for concessions.
Folland Sports currently sit 14th in Division One of the Wessex League and played out a goalless draw with Fawley at the weekend.
Pompey reached the quarter-finals of last season’s competition, easing past Southampton and Andover New Street before being knocked out at Bournemouth.
