Abu Kamara is a member of an exclusive Pompey club this season.
The on-loan Norwich forward is one of just two players, along with Jack Sparkes, to have featured in all 16 matches.
He has appeared in 12 League One fixtures for the table-toppers, as well as a couple of games in each of the Carabao Cup and EFL Trophy.
Kamara will hope to be involved once more when Carlisle make the long trip down to Fratton Park this weekend.
And with just three senior outings under his belt prior to arriving over the summer, Kamara has been pleasantly surprised with his involvement for Pompey.
He said: “It’s gone better than I’ve expected and I’m getting consistent game time, which is helping me to keep improving.
"In under-23s there’s time to take a touch and look up, but here you need to know the next step because someone will be on you."
“So my life at Pompey has been really great and it’s nice to have featured in every single match so far this season.
“The manager has put a lot of trust in me. It gets to the legs, but when you’re out there you don’t even think about it.
“At the start I was struggling a bit, although I’ve learnt a lot and have adapted to how quick the turnarounds are.
“You have to be switched on at all times when you’re on the pitch, while off it, I know the recovery is so important.
“In under-23s there’s time to take a touch and look up, but here you need to know the next step because someone will be on you.
“I’ve been given little tips by the likes of Marlon about how to get better and am just trying to take everything on board.
“Getting that kind of advice is only going to elevate my game, so it’s something that I’m grateful to receive.”
