Several members of the Pompey squad were involved for their loan clubs over the weekend.

Haji Mnoga
The defender made an instant return to the Aldershot side after returning from international duty with Tanzania.

He helped them battle from behind to beat Hartlepool 2-1 on home soil, with the Shots scoring two late goals.

The result means that is currently only goal difference keeping them outside the National League play-off places.

Josh Oluwayemi
There was midweek FA Cup heartache for the keeper, as Chelmsford lost 3-1 at Whitby in their fourth qualifying round replay.

It meant that the Clarets missed out on a glamour trip to Bristol Rovers in the next round of the competition.

But Oluwayemi kept a clean sheet at Slough on Saturday, which means the side remain just outside of the National League South play-off positions.

Liam Vincent
The defender returned to Worthing for another loan stint at the start of last week and was thrown straight into the side.

He helped the Rebels thrash county rivals Crawley 6-2 to progress to the next round of the Sussex Senior Cup.

Vincent then came off the bench on Saturday in a 2-1 home defeat to Yeovil that leaves the side seventh in National League South – one place above Chelmsford.

Toby Steward
The teenage keeper continued his successful spell with Gosport by helping them record another victory.

A 2-1 triumph over Tiverton at Privett Park ensured that Boro remain top of the Southern League Premier standings.

Destiny Ojo
There was more success against Tiverton, this time for Poole earlier in the week, with the striker on from the start of the 2-0 victory.

Ojo won an early penalty that was converted by Tony Lee to open the scoring and then had a goal disallowed before going off on the hour mark.

But he was an unused substitute on Saturday, as the Dolphins had a man sent off in a 5-2 defeat to Chesham.

Harvey Laidlaw
The teenage full-back started for Horndean in their trip to Sheppey United – who have an FA Cup tie at Walsall to look forward to after reaching the first round proper for the first time ever.

But it was the Deans who came out on top in a 3-2 win, with former Pompey academy player Tommy Scutt among the scorers.

The result means that the previously struggling side have now climbed up to 14th position in the Isthmian League South-East Division table.

Harry Jewitt-White
The midfielder was introduced as a late substitute for Havant & Waterlooville in their 2-0 National League South loss at Dartford.
