Colby Bishop has been nominated for the PFA League One Fans' Player of the Month award for September.
The striker enjoyed a prolific month to help Pompey maintain their unbeaten start to the season and climb to the top of the table.
He struck in the victories over Peterborough and Barnsley, also providing an assist at Oakwell, as well as grabbing a last-gasp leveller at Derby.
Bishop will have to see off competition from Oxford's Cameron Brannagan, Barnsley's Devante Cole, Stevenage's Jamie Reid, Blackpool's Jordan Rhodes and Wycombe's Max Stryjek to land the prize.
