If the ball was going to fall to anyone inside the box deep into stoppage-time, then you probably want it to be Colby Bishop.
That is what happened at Pride Park, with the prolific striker firing home after Gavin Whyte’s cross had been turned into his path by Terry Devlin.
It saw the visitors rescue a point after Derby had seemingly snatched a late victory through James Collins’ penalty.
Pompey kept battling until the end, though, and Bishop was delighted that they refused to accept defeat.
He said: “So far this season it just never feels like we’re actually beaten and we always retained that belief.
“It looked like a harsh penalty decision that went against us and I thought we were the better team throughout.
“It can be difficult when those things go against you, but we didn’t give up and got our reward for that.
"We looked good again and in the past couple of games, have played some lovely football. It feels like it’s clicking."
“I don’t really know what happened for the goal. The ball just came in and I needed to get a touch on it – thankfully, it went in.

“I just feel we have to be a bit better in certain moments during matches to be able to break sides down.
“But we know it’s a good team we have this season and the mentality that’s in the dressing room is brilliant.”
It is the second season in succession that Bishop has netted for the Blues at a venue he is pretty familiar with.
He said: “I was at Derby’s academy from the ages of seven to 15 and obviously also a Forest fan all the way through.
“So I’ve been to Pride Park many a time and always felt that it would be nice to score at the ground. It’s a good feeling.”
