Several members of the Pompey squad were involved for their loan clubs over the festive period.
Harry Jewitt-White
Havant & Waterlooville’s recent revival took a stumble when they were beaten 1-0 at Truro just before Christmas.
Jewitt-White started that game and a home defeat by the same scoreline to Farnborough on Boxing Day.
But he helped them get back on track by winning 4-2 against the latter club in the reverse fixture on New Year’s Day.
The midfielder was involved in the opening goal netted by James Roberts and then got on the scoresheet himself with a fine 25-yard shot. <Tweet goal>

That ensured the Hawks climbed back off the foot of the National League South table, although they are still 11 points adrift of safety.
Haji Mnoga
The Tanzanian defender was involved in all three games for Aldershot over Christmas – which saw some mixed results.
They took the lead at runaway National League leaders Chesterfield on December 23, only to end up losing 4-1.

The Shots then played out a goalless draw with Woking on Boxing Day before travelling to meet the same side at the start of 2024.
And they won that game 3-2, with Mnoga providing the assist for the crucial third goal scored by Jack Barham. <Tweet goal>

It means that eighth-placed Aldershot are fourth in a list of four clubs on 40 points, with only goal difference keeping them outside of the play-off spots.
Toby Steward
Gosport were feeling festive when the keeper kept a clean sheet in a comfortable 4-0 win at Walton & Hersham just before Christmas.

Super Steward!
Gough in the centre of the BORO’ box, does well to get his shot across. With Steward somehow getting a hand to tip it out in an outstanding save 🧤
And there was another shut-out from the teenage a few days later, as rivals Sholing were beaten 1-0 at Privett Park.
Boro could not make it three victories from three in the Southern League Premier, however, as they had to be content with a 1-1 draw at Winchester on New Year’s Day.
Destiny Ojo
The academy striker came on as a substitute in the first half of Poole’s 1-0 home win over Harrow on December 23.
And he was in the starting line-up on Boxing Day when the Dolphins enjoyed a 2-1 success on the road at Dorchester in the Southern League Premier.

Jack Fox
The academy defender started for Baffins Milton Rovers in their only Wessex League contest over Christmas – a 2-1 win at US Portsmouth.
A strong defensive display to earn 3⃣ vital points 💪

Harvey Laidlaw & Mitch Aston
Horndean beat Littlehampton 2-1 at home on Boxing Day, with Laidlaw’s corner converted by former Blues academy player Ethan Robb.

Aston has joined his team-mate at Five Heads Park and came off the bench in that Isthmian League South East Division match, as well as in a 4-1 loss at Lancing on New Year’s Day.
