Pompey Women are delighted to announce the signing of Scarlett Williams.
The defender arrives on the south coast after leaving fellow National League outfit Billericay.
And the 19-year-old was previously at Watford after progressing through the ranks at Tottenham.
Williams is also a youth international with Wales and has earned nine caps for the under-19s, making her debut in a 4-1 victory over Albania.
"She is very quick and has got great recovery pace. With the ball she is very composed and can find the right passes between the lines."
The centre-half adds depth to Jay Sadler's side and arrives for the run-in, with four games remaining for the Blues.
The Blues boss said: "We wanted to get another centre-back in and Scarlett is someone we’ve been monitoring. We think she fits the position specific profile perfectly, especially on the ball.
"She is very quick and has got great recovery pace. With the ball she is very composed and can find the right passes between the lines.
"In terms of potential, she joins at a good age. I firmly believe there is a high ceiling and we’re positive the environment we’ve created here will support her growth in years to come."
