The winger joined Pompey from Wigan early in the summer 2023 transfer window.
He progressed through the ranks at West Ham and turned professional with the East London club in 2016.
Scully then moved to Lincoln, making more than 100 appearances and scoring 37 goals, including at Accrington on his first start for the club.
The former Republic of Ireland under-21 international then signed for Wigan and featured for them in the Championship.
