The Australia international joined Pompey from Western Sydney Wanderers in July 2023.

He made a blistering start to his Blues career, scoring four goals in his first three appearances – including a last-gasp debut equaliser against Bristol Rovers.

Yengi was given a chance in the Australian top-flight when he was promoted to the first team of hometown club Adelaide United in 2019.

His first goal was a memorable one, as it helped secured a 3-1 victory at their fierce rivals Melbourne Victory.

Yengi – whose younger brother Tete is on the books at Ipswich – signed for Western Sydney Wanderers in 2022 and struck four times in 18 appearances for them.
