The midfielder made the switch to Fratton Park in the summer of 2023 after leaving Forest Green.
He came through the ranks at Coventry, turning professional in 2015 and making his debut in a Carabao Cup win over Pompey the following year.
Stevenson also played the full 90 minutes for the Sky Blues when they beat Oxford at Wembley to lift the EFL Trophy in 2017.
He joined Colchester following a short stint with Wolves and made almost 100 appearances for the club.
Stevenson was part of the side that stunned Crystal Palace and Tottenham to reach the quarter-finals of the Carabao Cup, where the adventure finally ended at Manchester United.
He then moved to Forest Green in the summer of 2021, helping them secure that season’s League Two title.
