CPD Opportunities
Pompey Academy regularly invite coaches from local grassroots clubs to coaching CPD (continued professional development) events, that take place at Fratton Park throughout the year, with more details available here.
By doing so, providing an opportunity to explain the detailed blueprint of Academy staff looks to achieve success within the club's youth age groups.
When describing previous events, Head of Academy Coaching James Barlow said: "It was fantastic to connect with like-minded coaches, to explore conversations surrounding player development and to spark an interest into the pathway the club shall provide.
"I wish to grow this programme and connect with the key stakeholders of the island more and more – sharing best practices and experiences to best equip our young Portsmouth players with the necessary skills, values and behaviours to provide them with the best chance of progressing within the professional game."
