Flexi-Season Ticket: FAQs

The answers to some frequently asked questions

16 August 2020

The 2020/21 season is fast approaching, with the League One fixtures getting started on Saturday, September 12.

With the Covid-19 pandemic meaning many games are likely to be played with a reduced capacity, existing season ticket holders can purchase a flexi-season ticket from 10am on Monday (August 17).

What is the flexi-season ticket?
The flexi-season ticket ensures that fans will not have to part with a large upfront payment while there is no guarantee of when – or how many – supporters can return to football grounds.

Instead, they will have the opportunity to buy match tickets on a fair and equal basis while the Fratton Park capacity is reduced. Click here for more information.

How do I buy my flexi-season ticket?
The quickest and easiest way is online here, with supporters having from 10am on Monday, August 17 until 11.59pm on Sunday, September 13 to secure their flexi-season ticket.

Fans can also call 0345 646 1898 (option one), but please be advised we have limited staff and phone lines are expected to be busy.

Alternatively, supporters can visit the ticket booth behind the Fratton End, but please be aware that social distancing methods will be in place and face masks should be worn. Due to Covid-19 working conditions, there will be two members of staff working in the booth and we thank supporters in advance for their patience.

We would strongly advise all supporters to pay by credit/debit card and avoid cash purchases if possible.

How do I ensure that I can attend the same games as my family and friends?
After the flexi-season ticket sales period there will be grouping process, which will allow supporters to log into their online account and select a preferred group.

Further details on this process will be announced once the flexi-season ticket sales period has ended.

How many games will I be able to attend?
The number of supporters who will be allowed into Fratton Park to watch games has yet to be announced, so we cannot confirm this yet.

The club will do its best to ensure that all flexi-season ticket holders are able to purchase tickets for the same number of games, with a fair rotation in the allocation of tickets.

Will I receive a season ticket card?
No, season cards will not be used for fixtures played in front of a reduced capacity.

If I am able to buy tickets for a match, can I sit in my regular seat this season?
Due to social distancing measures that need to be implemented during the 2020/21 campaign, it is unfortunately unlikely that supporters will be able to sit in their regular seat.

Can I buy a season ticket if I did not have one for the 2019/20 season?
The flexi-season ticket scheme is only open for existing season ticket holders. The club will soon be announcing details of a membership scheme, which will give supporters who are not flexi-season ticket holders the chance to attend games.

Am I obliged to purchase a match ticket for the fixtures my group is allocated to?
No, supporters have the option to purchase a ticket for their allocated games, but there is no obligation to buy.

Could I end up paying more for match tickets than the cost of a regular season ticket if capacity restrictions are lifted?
The club have the flexibility to balance ticket prices if required.

If my group is allocated a match that I cannot attend, will I be offered an alternative match?
Unfortunately, we are unable to offer an alternative fixture if you are unable to attend the fixture allocated to your group.

Can I use an existing account credit for the purchase of flexi-season tickets and/or match tickets?
Yes, your balance will be available to use against the purchase of flexi-season tickets, match tickets and memberships.

When applying account credit online, supporters will only have access to the account balance of the supporter who is logged in.

Can I use multiple account credits in one transaction?
Supporters will be required to log into each individual account to apply their credit to a purchase.

Supporters who experience issues are encouraged to phone our ticket office for assistance.

If I cannot get tickets for a game, will I be able to watch it on iFollow?
Games played behind closed doors or with capacity restrictions will be streamed on iFollow, with more details to follow in due course.

Can disabled supporters buy their flexi-season ticket online?
Yes, they can, while their helpers do not need to pay £25 for a separate flexi-season ticket
