The Retro Vault Reopens

Get your hands on kits from Pompey's past

8 April 2024

The 'Portsmouth Retro Vault' has opened once again, offering fans the chance to get their hands of some favourite kits from Pompey's past.

The home and away shirts worn by the Blues between 1997 and 1999 will be available for supporters to wear.

As part of the club's former players day, they were available exclusively in the Pompey Store on Saturday for supporters to purchase ahead of the Shrewsbury game.

And now supporters will be able to purchase their new strips online here from 8am on Tuesday.

These shirts were worn by the likes of John Aloisi, Steve Claridge, Alan McLoughlin and Mathias Svensson when the club were competing in Division One towards the end of the 20th century.

The 97-99 retro shirts, which have been manufactured by Score Draw, are priced £45.

As part of the Retro Kit Vault Collection, supporters can also purchase our new bucket hats made by The Terrace, with the design influenced by those shirts, alongside a range of mugs and coasters.

Meanwhile, supporters who missed out on the 1978 or 1987 jerseys last year have another chance to purchase, with further stock being added to the vault.
